Dint know if you need a slipper clutch for the S3 though, it has a "backlash gear eliminator" that prevents rear wheel lockups if you drop to too low a gear at speed then dump the clutch, it seems more a mechanical function in the transmission rather than the friction pack of the clutch. (I'm not the most mechanical person here so I could be speaking out of term)

I know the race replicas are beginning to come out with slipper clutches but I seriously doubt if 99% of those that are equipped with them will ever be employed on the street, I could be wrong but that seems so track-centric. But it's the new "must have" item much like radial mounted brakes and under seat exhausts.

Anyhow, I love the clip-ons and am keeping the bike this way forever..or until age or injury dictates otherwise.
