Dicko - Read out posts on low speed stumble and bad ignition coils. Based on your description, I'd almost gurantee its bad coils. In fact I have a 00 T-Bird. See if your ignition coils are date stamped 07/00. You will need to remove the tank. Other typical problems to rule out:
Vapor lock?? Tip-over valve kinked anywhere? Gas cap problem?
Pet-cock screens clogged. Need to remove and drain the tank and then remove the pet-cock assembly. Very easy to do for any handy person. Just be careful working with the petrol. NO SMOKING.
Again - I urge you to scan the threads here and in the Modifications forum. Bad coils are becoming a plague with the triples.
