I have a 96 Daytona 1200. The entire time I've had it, in order to adjust the chain I've had to loosen the pinch bolts AND the axle. The Axle pinches the eccentrtics together so that when it is tight, the eccentrics won't turn, even if the pinch bolts are loose.

I just noticed (yes I know, I'm a dumgbass) that the manual says to adjust the chain, all I should need to do is loosen the pinchbolts. Is this true?

If so, it seems like I'm either missing a spacer, or I'm not putting the wheel and spacers together properly. Anyone who could help with this, I'd sure appreciate it.

What I really need is an exploded diagram of the rear wheel/cush drive/axle assembly so I can compare it to my bike...anyone?

This is sorta an emergency, because I'm supposed to ride about 1100 miles over the course of next weekend, and I;d rather not kill myself due to improper rear wheel assembly.

Thanks!
