Another update for those of you who might be interested -
I've had a few emails in response to my quest. Here are some highlights.
The news from Bella Corse is that they are expecting a new style of airbox kit to be in stock in three weeks or so. My thanks go to Mike (at source) for that info.
Also, Oliver Cole at Mototwin tells me that he is awaiting some specially made for him by his supplier, presumably fairly soon.
I'm very grateful to Pete Jenks (at Jenks' Bolts) who observed that, regarding the South Bay Triumph air box elimination kit: "neither it or the NARK are very well shaped to work as the rear mudguard, a function that outside of the back (stock) airbox performs."
He suggested that: "it would be just as easy, and probably cheaper, to buy a second airbox from Triumph and cut out the airbox front part and upper sides, to clear the air intakes. This allows all the other functions of the airbox to remain and the space previously occupied by the air filter becomes a useful storage space."
Wise words indeed, I suspect.
Ok, so I might not be burning rubber for the new year but I'm sure I'm making progress.
Ergo: does anyone over my way have a spare airbox they want rid of - I feel a spot of surgery coming on.
