Hi Djr.. glad to report that the source of the leak is sorted, it indeed was that plug, it was not fully tightened according to the dealer, yes I was contemplating doin it myself but why bother, 2 year warranty an all that, and would as you say been well stuffed if the thread gave up in the ally....thanks again all for your advice...appreciated
