The wonderful thing about the old Bonnies is interchangeability. The only thing to be careful of is the fastener threads. Always check close, because you'll get a nut to start on, or a bolt to start in, then it will stick. PULL IT OUT, it's not dirty, IT'S THE WRONG THREAD!

If you aren't going long-distance endurance riding or drag racing, the 66 engine will be fine for an old vintage rider. In fact, they are EXCELLENT. Yes, newer engines have a few better points, but nothing to throw everything away for.
