I am starting a Triumph project bike. This is my first Triumph since I owned a 500 Daytona many moons ago. I was hoping to find a unit of 1968 - 70 vintage but that has proven tougher than I thought. Anyway, I have located a lower end numbered du25XXX which I believe should be a 66?? Are there any shortcomings with these bottom ends compared to the 68 thru 70 vintage? Also, I can only get the cases, rods, crank and a few other odds and ends. Need I worry much about other t120r part compatibility? Things like side cases etc. Not worried about primary as I'm going with belt drive. May go with big bore kit as well. Thanks!
