I have looked at all galleries of '60s British iron, and I cannot find a bike equipped with the part that I have, and am hoping to sell at some point - it is a solid aluminum alloy instrument housing with a Smiths speedo in it. The housing has a loop with a hole, about 1" d. or so, to mount the instrument. It will polish up to a real shine. Does anyone recall what marque or model might have been equipped with such a speedo and housing? It was in with a bunch of '67 TR6C parts that I sold, but I think that those bikes all had black instrument cases.
