I know the last factory upgrade was the 865cc big bore version. That gave the torque a little boost at low RPM. I think the next step would be to increase the stroke enough for 17cc per cylinder. The additional 34cc would make the twin displace 899cc. I think that along with some breathing tweaks could liven up the Bonneville. The 865cc could then be the standard motor with the 899cc the top model. This seems like a logical evolution of this power plant.
