I just got back from a cccCoLd 220 mile ride. I rode a favorite road from my teenage years (Salmon Falls Rd.)
I got a weird oscillation, or bumping, or it felt like skipping, or like the tubes up front were absorbing the bumps at different rates...... all of this up front, all of it ONLY when leaning over like a danm fool playing Ricky Road Racer. It didn't matter if I was dragging my left knee or my right knee (yeah..... like I wear pucks & drag knees....... NOT!).
There was absolutely NO HINT of this anomaly at saner/safer riding speeds.... ONLY at very aggressive leaning into 50-80 mph sweeps.
I have a new BT45 on the back, but kept the old Battlax on the front. With 6500 miles on the front tire, am I feeling what I've heard people talking about...... either that the Battlax's "suck", or that the front tires (only the BT45???) start to acting weird with miles on 'em???????
SOMEBODY...... got any idea what the hell I'm talking about, and more importantly what I'm feeling????
