My original chain went 23,000 miles with regular lubing. My second chain is doing about the same with no lube at all. I couldn't figure out why I was wasting all that lube that won't get past the o-ring anyway so I decided to try none. I guess if I lived someplace wet it might make a difference. I see you live in Phoenix which is about as arid as Albuquerque. I keep wanting to spray something on it; feel like a bad parent or something but I'm going to stay strong and not lube this chain.
