I got hold of the service manager at the dealer this morning.. He told me when installing D&D's they leave the mains if it has 120's in place and will change them if there are airbox mods. They put 45 pilots in the bike (reccomended for D&D's).. He told me in colder weather to increase the mixture a half turn and see what that does.. If it does not help, adjust the needles, but he thinks the 120's are fine with the factory airbox.
Dealer said some needles have an adjustment on them.. I haven't heard anyone talk about this. If it is there, does anyone use this for needle adjustment rather than shimming them?
Are the Thuxton needles available from the dealer only?
