Three ways to do this:
First... take it to the dealer.. its still under warranty.
Second... if number one is a pain, prop up your gas tank, and start disconnecting the electrical connectors under there. Do one at a time. Use a pair of small needle nose pliers and tweak the pins just a little. Put a little dielectric grease on the pins (available at any auto store) and snap the plug back together. These plugs have little latches that are easily opened by using a small pocket screwdriver to press on the release tab. DISCONNECT your battery before doing this... some of these wires are hot at all times. This should cure your problem and make the bike reliable in the cold and rain.
Three... if two doesn't fix it you will have to use a multimeter and or test light to find the open circuit. Hopefully you won't have to go that far...
