Not a problem. Most saddlebags have a hard leather or plastic backside that faces towards the tire. It helps keep the bag from sagging. You'll notice a long plate that is welded to the support rails which has 4 holes. Two of those holes are tapped for 6mm bolts (included).
I don't want to stock saddlebags as they're a lot like helmets and leather jackets. I'd have to stock so many sizes, shapes, 2 buckle, 3 buckle, conchos, no conchos... and inventory nightmere for a relatively small retailer like myself. So you can go out and buy the ideal saddlebags you want and to mount them to these rails, you will possibly have to drill a couple of small holes in the hard backsides to match the holes on the support rails.
It's very easy: with the rails off the bike, just lay them on the back of the bags and use a Sharpie pen or drill bit to mark the locations to drill. I would suggest a drop of Loctite thread locker on the bolts... it's a British bike after all.(g)
