Unless I'm mistaken the clutch slipping keeps the kickstarter from doing its work.

Clutch slipping can have different causes which needn't all be too difficult to cure, so here goes :

- Not enough slack on the cable, handlebar side or gearbox side. Clutch cable not moving freely (stuck somewhere maybe underneath the fueltank or at the handlebars or cable damaged (bent).

- Clutch pushrod hasn't enough slack, can be adjusted from an inspection hole on the primary side.

And then there's the two other things slinky mentionned.
