My two cents worth:
Only problem, at about 23,000 miles--a fork seal leak. That's it.
Just had it's 24K tune-up, and it didn't need the airbox replaced (is that weird?).
I love this bike. Perhaps the only issue with it is it's handling at low speeds (parking lots, etc. in tight turns), but that may just be me.
