Thanks for your prompt response.

As it happens I was trying to take off the wrong part in the first place (rear footrest when it should have been the rear footrest hanger doh* !).

That came off without a hitch, rear caliper came off (little bit of an awkward area to work in) relatively easy. Hugger on, rear caliper back on, hugger tightened and adjusted voila !!

Can post pics if you tell me how ?

Torque settings for rear brake caliper bolts would be useful if anyone can tell me them.
