I have an '05 built in May. The grab rail gets slightly warm but not uncomfortable after 100 miles. The seat doesn't get hot. There is some heat that comes out around your leg in the city when stopped at a light.
The suspension works fine for me other than bit more brake dive than I was used to. It's better since I firmed up the front preload. I'm 6'3" and well over the 300lb range.
My brakes are very good with no "mushiness".
The seat is adequate, but as I'm losing weight pretty rapidly I'll wait to pass judgment on it until next fall.
The high beam headlight doesn't do much but make far away signs glow more. I've picked up a new bulb but haven't changed it yet. The dims are very good and light up the ditches pretty well making it easy to see the antlered rats around here.
I really like mine and it's a blast to ride.
