I'm jealous now as I only managed to get 1100 miles done before the overheating problem stopped the bike.
I bought the Tiger as a stop gap bike following a 6 year break from bikes. My intent is/was to get something like a ZZR13 when it comes out next year or maybe a Blackbird when they update the model as that is more in keeping with what I've had in the past - 2xZZR11, CBR1000, 4xFJ12 - but I'm not so sure at the moment as the more I ride the Tiger the more I like it.
The only problem I have is a persistent coccyx issue from a bike accident years ago that is really aggravated by the Tiger's sit up and beg position. That results in me having to stop every 90 miles or so as it is extremely painful despite the gel seat. I had the same problem with a KLR650 that I had for a while and was why I got rid of it. That might be what pushes me to change the Tiger but apart from that I love it and so does SWMBO who is usually on the back.
