Hi Karl, Glad to have you with us. I also had trouble with my 1200 that sounds like yours. Check the crank position sensor and the coils. I was riding for about an hour and a half one day and the motor sputtered and died, wouldn't even try to start. After about 5-10 minutes it fired right back up and got me home. That turned out to be the crank position sensor. A month later on a very hot run to a Rat Raid, 100 degrees F , the motor started to miss like it was running on 2 or 3 cylinders, then would pop back to life for a few seconds. That turned out , after much searching, to be BOTH coils. Once they were replaced, everything was great! Jeff :???: :???: :???:
