Well i took proud ownership of a 1999 trophy 1200 on tuesday,so thought i would register and say hi ,

but.....
After three great days of riding all over the county and feeling very happy with myself and my bike it all came to a grinding halt this evening. So if any one can help i would be grateful, pull away from house this evening it stalled 100 yards from house, started up again, ran rough for 1/2 mile and just died as soon as i pulled up at a junction and refused to start, after some ten minutes she fired up and idled fine but slowly the revs died and she cut out. After another few minutes she fired up again ( with some reluctance) but as soon as i put her in gear and gave it some revs she died again. Pushed her home ( ***** she's heavy) left her for half a hour for me to cool down she fired up and off i went for a tour of the block, ran fine , but again after a few minutes the same fault returns, slowly the revs die and she cuts out. I did notice a smell of fuel yesterday. any ideas folks, i am gutted !
