Mine fits very well, but you have to throw away the ***** double sided tape they supply and replace it with a better product. I found a very thin double sided tape with incredible strength at my hardware store......and it holds the pad flush against the tank all round. Don't let petrol get under it as it melts the glue on the tape.
The tape I used is Bear brand double sided tape. I don't know if this is an International brand or not.
