I recently fitted the NB 125 dB horn under my T100 gas tank. I believe I used the space that was formerly occupied by AI hardware (I had the dealer remove the AI hardware before I picked up the motorcycle so I'm not exactly sure what it looked like). I used the aft most nut-plate under the tank and cut down the bracket that comes with the aftermarket horn. I also shaved off a little of the horn at the outlet (this was not absolutely necessary) to help with the fit. Once I figured out it would fit, the job was very easy. I didn't even have to disconnect the tank gas lines, etc. I just loosened the two tank mounting bolts under the seat, slid it back, lifted it up about 6 - 8" and slipped a big roll of masking tape between the tank and upper frame. That gave me enough room to work under the tank. The horn is LOUD and has a cool European sound (I even ordered another one for my pickup since its horn is dead). One has to really be looking for it to notice it. The bottom is about a half inch below the tank but buried up under there such that it is not noticeable. - dh
