It is easy to install but be careful about how it is placed. The NB horn has a plastic bell shape on the end which if placed directly down, will hit the fender when the forks compress on large bumps. I ended up facing the horn to the side and eventually will probably trim the plastic bell on the end. Also, the horn will fill with water if you do not cover it when washing so put a bag over it. I think it is louder but I don't count on anybody hearing it. Gives me a little piece of mind if nothing else.
