When I started riding in 1960 in Colorado Springs everyone on 2 wheels waved at other 2 wheelers-didn't matter if you were on a Harley or Vespa or anything in between.
Today here in Carson City area(home of Harley-Davidson Finance & Many many Harleys) some folks wave & some don't. Sport bike riders almost never wave, occasionally a Dual sport rider will wave. GoldWing Riders do pretty good most of the time. A lot of Harley riders will do the low-down Harley wave but hey its a wave! Scooter riders almost all wave. This has been my experience whether on scooter or Bonneville. It seems to me that when cold weather hits though that the waves are more frequent cause they figure you are riding then because you like to ride like them regardless of the temp! Just musing on my part--How do You folks feel about the Wave?
