Can't talk about the Corbin, but I have the Gel seat. While it is WAY better than the stock seat, it isn't great. Living down here on the RedNeck Riviera, one must be careful to keep the seat covered when parking in the sun. The gel absorbs a terrific amount of heat, and it takes forever to cool.
Since you're facing a non-riding time of year, you might consider sending your seat to Sargent (
www.sargentcycle.com) or Keith's etc., for a custom job. The basic job at Sargent would cost the same or less than either the Gel or the Corbin.
