I have the same concern.
I’ve narrowed my bike choices to the Triumph, HD Road King Classic, and the Victory Kingpin. One of the few quibbles I have with the RIII is the engine heat. I definitely felt it on my test ride (I live in the Phoenix area as well). I would like to be able to hop on my bike for a short ride to the store without gearing up a pair of jeans just do I don’t burn myself.
