I have a micron on my '05 S4. I bought the bike from the dealer with it already on. It's polished aluminum, oval. I'd have to check the model number, but in the assembly instructions it was marked as off road only.

I have the stock can, and I can tell you that it is very heavy. I'm guessing there is probably a 5-10 lb difference.

As for noise, the micron pipe is LOUD at wide open throttle. Very throaty sounding. I've got many compliments on the sound of the bike. During city riding it's not that loud. Just sounds healthy. Not annoying or buzzy. In general, the micron piped S4 sounds way different than most other piped 600's. I recommend it.

As for the ECU, the dealer loaded the program for a tt600 and a micron pipe, and it works flawlessly. No hesitation, no flatspots. It just pulls at any RPM. Stock air filter.

I hope to take it to one of the local dealers and get it on their dyno, just to confirm that the A/F ratio is indeed correct. Seat of the pants testing is one thing, but the dyno doesn't lie.
