RE GPS Speedo. Was at the Sydney Boatshow in oz recently and saw this new product on display. It was a waterproof person GPS speedo. It displayed current speed,average speed , top speed and distance travelled. It came with a wrist band and could be worn like a watch or on arm between elbow and shoulder like an ipod. Was also waterprooof and could be worn swimming. Was being marketed as the extreme sportmans speedo available for any sport where speed was to be determined. I think it was called a navman.
