You can't really compare a $35 thingy with a GPS that costs from $100ish up into the thousands. What a GPS will do is tell you exactly where you are within a few meters, map your route anywhere, tell you where you can get gas, food, or play. It will tell you how far, how fast, how long, and average. I just got a Garmin Quest 2 and love it. Much bigger bank than the $34 bicycle trinket, but I sure don't consider my Rocket a trinket.
