seemed very straightforward,at least it was watching the mexchanic ! I sure a reasonably competent owner could do it.Took 1½ hours including greasing the swinging arm points and a good chat.Initial short ride shows fairly firm but much better damping and seems more surefooted.A proper run with some friends will follow tomorrow.I weigh about 154 lbs and the shock is on standard settings and I have 15mm of static sag.I think the base settings are ok but I might experiment a bit with the allenn key and damping.Cost including fitting £300 so a reasonable investment on a 1995 bike. With the Hagon front springs and 6 pot front caliper already fitted I am looking forward to miles of smiles. And the new Tiger should arrive next week as well.
