No problems here after 14500 miles.
Virtually every moto forum I have been on has many tales of breaking bikes. Hell, one guy even set up his own website specifically to trash the suzi LC 1500 Intruder, a bike loved by the vast majority of owners for its comfort and reliability. I bought the bike despite his rantings and was very happy with it....till the Rocket came along.
In order to truly tell if a particular design is flawed we would need to look at the repair records of all the bikes sold, know how they were treated by the owner, and any other special circumstances.
As far as I am concerned the Rocket is as reliable as any other bike I have owned. Am I just lucky or are the problems exxaggerated because problems are what people report....not daily reliability.
