I'm seriously considering the Ikons advertised for the America/Speedmaster....., the "1 inch lower" Ikon. I am told that they will fit just as easily on my '05 BonnieBlack. I'm also told that they are more like 3/4" lower rather than the suggested full inch.....

Thus my question(s):
I'm short (5' 2" w/24" inseam), but I'm a very heavy short, 240 lb.s.....

* Will the Ikons be up to the task for a guy who still thinks he can ride in a "spirited" fashion? (Am I too heavy for the Ikon?)

* What is the BEST approach to addressing the front end of the bike with it's now lowered rear? (I plan on replacing the springs up front, but what is the most effective way do this while maintaining the integrity of the bike's geometry?)

* What is the height/length of the factory shocks for the Black, the T-100, and/or the Thruxton? (330,340,350,365,345mm?)
