Agree. I'd add that being at the dealership and listening to some of the to-be RIII newbies (talkin' about those without an apparent, upfront monetary constraint...) is... er...fascinating. The tattooed dude ready to betray HD but not ready to admit it, threatening to sell his worthless HD accessories separately if they are not considered in the trade-in offer. The solemn-sounding grandpa with unlimited bike ownership history who monopolizes the dealer principal's attention to explain that he has been off bikes for several years now (...) and kind of expects a discount on the RIII as a sort of a divine reward for both his dedication to a biking legend that never existed and his imminent return to that legend. The Jap cruiser owner with less than 5000 miles on his 1998 ODO who vents qualms about Triumph's long-term reliability. The average aging yuppie who plunks down in the dealer's only armchair and starts downloading his personal miseries (e.g. wiffie opposed to yet another bike, riding license at stake, job pressure, hostile son, stock market turbulences, sorry-sounding car-related anecdotes, etc.), And then, a candid-looking bloke who had ridden a T'bird to the dealership and had apparently been ready to trade it in for a RIII expressing (to me!) his 11th hour concerns about the RIII being "TOO THEATRICAL"
