Hi John, unless the seats are erroded and or damaged, just use 95 unleaded.
If the exhaust seats are pocketed and you feel they need doing then get them done, but you do not need to replace them AT ALL!
Do you still have the original Rita (Mistral engineering) set up on yor 'D Special' ? If so you should not need to do any timing adjustments. BUT........... each engine is different and you might find it 'pinks' when hot, requiring the timing to be retarded probably less than 1 degree. Roy.
