Perhaps I am being a wee bit too careful but since the bike is still under warranty I thought it was best to have the scheduled maintenance done by a dealer.
Ended up riding to Edmonton, and was able to check out the exhibit at the Reynolds museum on the way so not a total loss.
Once my warranty is up will probably start getting the major items done in Saskatoon. The rest I can do myself.
