Maybe it isn't that expensive to retrofit the bike. I was looking at my buddy's '05 and noticed the left fork has a boss for the sensor. I'll assume the wiring harness has a connector for the box. You'll need a new M/C or a piggyback unit, and of course an ABS rotor.

It would probably work out cheaper than the hit you wouild take selling your used '05 and buying the new '06 with ABS.

Would someone with an ABS machine tell me if both wheels have sensors, or just the front?
