when you checked the oil and it was dry, did you screw it all the way in then pull it out, or dip it in w/o screwing it in? The oil light coming on could be from the oil pressure sensor getting a bit of corrosion in it... its in an exposed spot, it happened to my S4... a litte steel wool and dielectric grease and it was all good
