My '06 had the slow start thing too. As it has gotten more miles it has started easier and easier. I turns over about two times before starting now (550 miles). It needed about 6 rotations when I first got it home (5 miles on the odometer). I have been following Triumph's break in procedure to the letter. I am guessing it is an issue of how welll the rings seat as to how much compression is developed as to how well it starts.
