Hey there.

The stock seat on my 03 Bonnie has developed a bad case of lumps, it looks like there are springs trying to poke out of it. (Yes, I know there are not springs in it!). Luckily the bike is still under warranty, so it will get replaced.

Heres the kicker....I was wanting to upgrade to the King and Queen seat, so I asked if Triumph would credit the cost of a new stock seat, which they will be paying anyway, and ship out a K&Q if I pay the difference.......The service guy called Triumph thinking it should be no problem, the other manufacturers do that kind of thing all the time. Triumph said no! No explanation, just that they "don't do it that way".

Triumph makes a great bike, but they are shooting themselves in the foot with their customer relations/organazational culture stuff. Its almost like they are a government office!!!

On a related note, I have a brand new stock seat coming, should be here in 2 weeks or so. If anyone has a K&Q seat they don't want and would like to do a trade for the stock one and some cash, let me know.

See youse guys later.
