Doc, you've got that right. Get the seat extensions. It all depends on how much you want to spend. I had a gun fighter seat made, but I did not like the way it looked. I sold it and bought a Smuggler last spring. While the price was a little salty, the seat looks great. It was made for my inseam length so can ride barefoot if I want to. It takes a little while to get the seat, up to 8-10 weeks at worst. Finish was flawless but the rear bracket was not even close to fitting. I relocated the bracket with some sheet metal screws and it works great. Can fit your owners manual, Cruz tool kit (great road side kit!) and a cell phone in it no problem.
