Glad to hear you had a fun (and safe!) trip. I'm sure you saw some beautiful scenery along the way.
I lost a lower fairing bolt too - mine was the one directly in front of my right (brake) toe. Dealer had it - cost me $6.50 (US) for a stinking bolt!
Get those brakes bled really well and you will be amazed at just how sharp they can be. I sure was after I had my mechanic take care of mine while he was doing the recall work on the coolant hose. What a difference!
