That's really bizarre! Although I'd LOVE to try it out! This looks way too good for a home job. Look at the tranny cases. I'm thinking this was a "one off" done by the factory which means that there must be a story. Hmmmmmmm.... Somebody should know about it. It's obviously sitting in a museum.
For those that don't know, the green & white Nash Metropolitan sitting behind it is also British built! All of them were built for Nash by Austin at the Longbridge plant in England. As far as I know, all were shipped to the US and sold here. Here it is 50 years later and us colonists are STILL supporting Her Majesty's economy!! Hehehehe!
