Success!
All of the previous ideas were good, but I managed to whiggle the airbox and the connection for that carb just popped right off. I then simply removed the ring and broke the bolt free with some vice grips. I went right out and bought 3 metric hex bolts (6mm if you're keeping notes) and will replace the Allen head bolts with them.

Thanks again, guys.

Now, for the reason that I started all this... I've been experiencing an on-again, off-again fuel leak that has been dripping off the left leaning side of the carbs. After I finally got the carb set removed and looked at it, I still really can't tell where it's coming from. I did have a couple of questions for any T-Bird owners though: if you've worked on your carbs before, have any of you noticed a fair omount of play in the fuel line(s) that connect all three carbs together? In other words, I can turn them with my hand with minimal resistance. I wonder how they're sealed up in there? Haynes says nothing about it, and the $70 Triumph Service manual is totally useless.

I'll take this to another thread under "Mods" and I would appreciate and advice.
