HELP! This thread's been unstrung, snapped, hijacked!
 A good discussion, though... kk

I've just reviewed the Triumph Member's Handbook, and after noting the requirements and restrictions placed on the organization and operation of Packs. I'm wondering what benefits Triumph offers in return for this control? Triumph itself appears to make no commitments, other than making room in Torque for a Pack announcement. The Handbook also doesn't place stipulations on shop support for the pack.

IOW--What is the incentive to organize a RAT Pack through Triumph rather than just organizing one not associated with them? The pressure seems to be placed on riders and shops, not on the corporation. What happened to British socialism (don't answer that!!!).

I'm still thinking a bit about the post on Triumphrat.net about the Portland pack, TRAP.

Kurt
