I'm not sure about other Bonnies, but my T100 had no fuel filter. After seeing the muck in the bottoms of my float bowls while changing jets, I decided to install one. I put in a Pingel in-line short chrome filter. It has a replaceable brass filter element and costs about $25. It fits the 5/16" fuel line. You have to take the tank off to install it, and I'd recommend putting clips on the fuel line at each connection. The only fuel filtering that comes on the bike from the manufacturer is (1) filters on the petcock up inside the tank, and (2) a small filter between the carbs. Last time I looked--no muck in the float bowls.
