Had an ST, had a Trophy 1200 (91) still got it, worth so little decided to keep the old girl...and the bike as well!!
Came into a little (a lot) of surprise cash via E-Bay and immediately turned the afore-mentioned beer vouchers into a 12 month old Rocket...black...T111 RKT...hear 'em in the next county silencers..SILENCERS...I said...It's no good they can't hear me over this bloody exhaust...I love the bike and I don't even really know why? I ride it all the time, it makes me laugh..it makes me feel good. I went on my first longish ride yesterday...oh..around 250 miles in all. You get to thinking whilst woffling along and I was trying to work out what it was about the thing that I liked the most.....I thought well...It gets lots of 'stares', that makes the old ego ignite a bit, then there's the "It's just so easy to ride" theory...and it really is...Then I thundered past a couple of long trucks, without a second thought or a change down in the gearbox making a sound like a Supermarine Spitfire..and that was cool...And then I realised I had a smile like slice of melon, and that's all that matters really!
It's not about the bike it's the ride, and these ride like the 'dogs' and no mistake!!
