I paid £1500 for my 1996, 3600 miles, 750cc Trident with over £1000 worth of upgrades. Given that the bike had full Triumph Service history etc i consider I got a very good deal. The Sprint sport would fetch more esp as a 900cc engined one so providing it is in very good nick then £2000 for a 1997 model is not a bad deal at all IMO. :-D
