I havent had any trouble with the pickup sensor on my Sprint as of late, however my old Trophy had one go wanky at about the 30k mileage mark, the first replacement I got from the dealer tested bad right out of the package, the second one worked fine till the operator malfunction. I think on higher mileage engines, 30k and above, if you havent changed one out, its good insurance to carry a spare.
