The chain on my 95 t'bird hit the last mark on the adjuster. I only had it 6 months and it's got 17k on it, so I assumed it had hit wear limit.
Okay, so I bought a new one (just the chain as the sprockets looked good) and a splitter and put it on. adjusting it back, I found that one too almost went to the last mark on the adjuster before tightening................ ??
It's the model with the eccentric cam with the 18mm allen key adjuster......... I've fiddled without achieving enlightenment ..
I've checked the chain length and everyone says 110 links, which is what mine is......... .
Help ?
